Where Cables Meet Ear Warmer

The Where Cables Meet Ear Warmer features knit columns that weave into cables and cross each other before weaving back into cables. The pattern is written for Aran weight yarn, but can also be made with Worsted or DK weight yarn for a thinner ear warmer.

Sizes:

  • The ear warmer is approximately 3” / 7.5 cm wide before blocking.
  • Toddler, (Child, Adult S, Adult M, Adult L)
  • Ear warmer circumference: 16, (18, 19, 20, 22)“ / 40.75 (45.75, 48.25, 50.75, 56) cm
  • Head circumference: 18, (20, 21, 22, 24)“ / 45.75, (50.75, 53.25, 56, 61) cm

Level: Easy The pattern uses two cables.

Yardage: 55, (60, 65, 70, 75) yards

Materials:

  • Aran weight yarn
  • Size US 8/5.0 mm needle of any length (or size needed to obtain gauge)
  • Cable needle
  • Stitch marker(s) (optional)
  • Yarn needle
