The Sleepy Bear Hat is the perfect accessory for the bear lover in your life (big or small).
The hat is worked in the round from the top down, increasing to form the crown and hat body. Next, the earflaps are worked followed by the hat edging. The ears, bow, and nose/mouth are worked separately and sewn on. The eyes are also sewn on. Finally, the ties are added and braided to complete the hat.

Level: Easy The pattern is worked in the round and uses basic stitches, including one decrease stitch. Foundation dcs are also used for the snout, but directions are included to use chains and standard dcs instead. There is a picture tutorial making it accessible for the beginner ready for a challenge. The tutorial includes stitch placement pictures and diagrams for sewing the mouth and eyes.
