Monster Hat

The Monster Hat is perfect for big and small monster loves alike.

The hat is worked in the round from the top down, increasing to form the crown and hat body. Next, the earflaps are worked followed by the hat edging. The eyes, mouth, and spikes are worked separately and sewn onto the hat. Finally, the ties are added and braided to complete the hat.

  • 0-3 months (3-6 months, 6-12 months, Toddler, Child) (Teen/ Adult S, Adult M, Adult L)
  • Hat circumference: 14 (15, 16, 17, 18) (19, 20, 22)" / 35 (38, 40.5, 43, 45.5) (48.5, 51, 56) cm
  • Head circumference: 16 (17, 18, 19, 20) (21, 22, 24)" / 40.5 (43, 45.5, 48.5, 51) (53.5, 56, 61) cm

Level: Easy The pattern is worked in the round and uses only basic stitches, including one decrease stitch. The eyes, mouth, and spikes are worked separately and are sewn onto the hat. There is a picture tutorial making it accessible for the beginner ready for a challenge.
