This playful blanket will be an instant favorite for any little girl, a sky full of butterflies, surrounded by colorful flowers. The unique multi-colored border adds to the blanket's cheerful appeal. The flowers and butterflies are part of the squares and are worked as you make each square so there is nothing to attach later.
Complete color information and a square placement chart are included, but you can customize the blanket by changing the number of squares of each type and how they are arranged.
Size: The blanket measures approximately 29 ½" square. It can be easily adapted by changing the number of squares. The border will work for any amount of squares.

I made the blanket with Knit Pick's Shine Sport yarn and a G (4 mm) hook. I used 7 50g balls of the main color and less than 1 ball of each of 6 accent colors. Approximately 1300 - 1400 yards. Exact colors are given in the pattern. However, you can use other yarn.
